Restful Retreat - Surrey

Higher Ground was hired to help this client transform their backyard into a serene retreat that provided functional spaces for the client to:

• enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning sunshine;
• entertain and spend quality time with family and friends; and
• walk from the shed to other parts of the yard.

Higher Ground’s design team collaborated to develop the perfect solution that would include all of the outdoor amenities and serve the entire family’s needs. Higher Ground:

• replaced the old, cracked concrete patio with a new patio using a naturalistic dimensional flagstone;
• built a secluded coffee patio nestled in the garden;
• installed a larger entertaining patio, surrounded by gardens;
• laid pathways that flowed from the patio to the shed, and from the shed to beside the house, to create a functional, yet beautiful layout.

The end result: the clients were pleased with an artistic and functional backyard that serves as a peaceful retreat.
